to different companies for after-school programs, creating a vibrant learning community throughout the day, and
maximizing the hours each space is rented.
Themes
Each year the facility is dressed up to reflect a new exciting theme.
Room to play
Indoor and outdoor common areas encourage families to stay after classes.

Potential Floor Plans
While we have not yet found the right place, we brainstormed for some potential ways a shared learning facility could lay out.
After-school enrichment is not new.
The Jeffrey Office Park in Irvine is a good example of synergy among child-centered businesses. It is one of the busiest education centers in Orange County, CA.
But there are no common areas indoors or outside. There is no place for students from the various classes to stay and hang out.
It's just a parking lot.
No room to run.
Homeschool learning centers are here to stay.
Homeschool learning centers are popping up all over, but they are not as visible. Being part-time school programs, they can't afford full-time facilities. They primarily rent from churches.
They have no real place to call their own.
They have no place to hang a shingle.
The facility will:
-
Be a fun and safe environment.
-
Be a 30,000 - 60,000 square foot freestanding building.
-
Be beautiful, open, and airy.
-
Have lots of natural lighting.
-
Be a vibrant learning community.
-
Be clean and uncluttered.
-
Have walls, floor and ceiling decorations that change each year to reflect the year's theme.
